Residential Living Facilities
At ISSTA, we recognize that in order to be truly inclusive, we must draw attention to the depth and breadth of the diversity represented at our learning insititution. ISSTA does not discriminate against any race, religions, creed, family status, gender expression or otherwise. In fact, the diversification of an international population is celebrated on our campus. Students often partake in varying cultural events, and share soem of their personal touches even indesigning their residential rooms.
Each residential facility houses approximately one hundred students, and are classified based on gender and age.
Ninth and Tenth grade students are housed in one building while junior and senior students are housed in another building. The campus residential facilities make it easy for students to engage with one another, however, the boys and girls residences are separated and are on different parts on the campus to avoid any potential issues or conflict. The purpose behind this structure is to allow for those that have same or similar hobbies, thought processes and the like to create relationships with each other. However, one of the benefits of housing both populations within the same facility is the ability for each other to meet and congregate in the common areas such as the student lounge, kitchen, library, and study rooms. Each facility is equipped with each of these features, inclduing residential suites for those who wish to have a more personalized experience amongst a few friends.
Each facility on the property is distinctive by gender and there is no ability for cross over. There are several farming greenhouses in between buildings, where students can planta nd grow vegetables and fruits, as well as other academic structures. Each facility houses a resident assistant to help students as needed. Students can also receive several concierge services in their residential rooms.
Housekeeping services, gourmet food delivery, concierge medicine, uniform delivery, dry cleaning, and other exeptional services will be made available to each student at a small cost.
Students also have the luxury of residing in rooms where certain electronic devices such as ipads, and or computers are provided and each student has their own closet for their personal items. The luxurious bathing amenities provide some grooming essentials and cleaned for all students regularly. Should a student require any hypoallergenci materials such as sheets or shampoo, ISSTA will provide such items at no extra fee to the student. Should a student want to take thier lunchback from the campus food court, a working refrigerator, microwave, and other amenities will be available in the residential room kitchen.
